This handmade ceramic dish was made with speckled clay and glazed in layers blue and seaglass to create this unique gray color. The flower of life pattern is imprinted in the clay and a silver luster moon sits in the middle to create a celestial effect.
The cycles of the moon and the cycles of life have been connected culturally for thousands of years, representing the never ending cycle of growth and culmination; beginnings and endings. The word ‘Crescent’ comes from the Latin word crescere, Which means to increase, and it is during this time of increasing in growth that seeds are to be planted and wishes are to be made.
This dish Can be used in a multitude of ways; a dish for special jewelry, on your altar, to charge special crystals, or as a decorative object to remind you and connect you with the phases of the moon.
The approximate size of this dish is 8" inches in diameter x 1 1/2 inches high. Handwashing is recommended as the silver luster can scratch.
