This handcrafted four-element ritual dish is a sacred offering vessel inspired by the ancient symbolism of Karahan Tepe. Sculpted from richly pigmented dark brown-black clay, it holds a constellation of elemental forms: a central carved serpent winds through the piece, surrounded by a radiating star, crescent moon, and directional earth glyphs reminiscent of Neolithic ceremonial sites. Each symbol was chosen to evoke ancestral memory and cosmic alignment.
The piece includes:
• A ritual bowl (1¾” diameter) for offerings or crystals (includes a faceted clear quartz stone)
• A vase (2” high x 1½” diameter) ideal for sacred herbs or a single stem
• A candle holder (¾” diameter) to anchor light within ritual space
• A small indentation for burning incense or adding a drop of oil
White oatmeal glaze has been brushed into the carved details, allowing each symbol to softly emerge from the dark clay surface like moonlight on ancient stone. The perimeter is ringed with hand-punctured dot markings, echoing ceremonial border work seen in early sacred art.
This altar dish is not just a functional tool but a portal—meant to hold, channel, and honor the elemental forces of earth, air, fire, and water in your sacred practice.
