The Brigids cross is one of the best known symbols of the triple Goddess Brigid and is commonly made for Imbolc. It is also an ancient Irish symbol of protection. I thought of both meanings when I hand carved the cross into the leather hard clay.
Made with honey speckled clay and glazed in a blue green crystalline glaze, this bowl can be used in sacred ceremony and as a decorative item on your altar.
This bowl is approximately 5" in diameter and 1" in height.
