Labyrinths are as old as humanity and have been associated with life’s journeys, spiritual quests, and even transcendence. I visited Chartes and though I didn’t get to walk it, was in its presence and fell in love with its design.
This Labyrinth is the same as the one in Chartes and it’s path can be traced with your finger. It was made with white clay and glazed in matte baby blue with gold luster center. The other side of the labyrinth has a blue flower print. It hangs on twine and three white beads were added. It is approximately 17” in total length and the Labyrinth measures 5” in diameter.
