Hand-formed beneath the influence of the stars, each 3iAtlas Incense Holder carries the mark of a living galaxy. Pressed with a spiral reminiscent of our own Milky Way, this piece honors 3i/ATLAS, the interstellar comet currently traveling through our solar system - a rare visitor from beyond.
At the edge of the spiral rests a small green 3iAtlas form, representing the comet itself. Its emerald glow is inspired by the real phenomenon observed as 3i/ATLAS approached the Sun: when solar radiation excites dicarbon (C₂) molecules in its coma, they emit a brilliant green light - a brief alchemy between starlight and carbon. This natural luminescence became the muse for the glazed green surface, symbolizing activation, awakening, and interstellar exchange.
Each dish measures approximately 8 inches long by 4 inches wide and is finished in a galaxy raku glaze that shifts with light hues of violet, blue, bronze, and silver swirling like the cosmos. Every piece is completely unique in its spiral pattern, texture, and coloration.
Perfect as an incense holder, altar dish, or symbolic art object for those drawn to cosmic themes and the mysteries of interstellar travel.
