Hand-formed and glazed in iridescent cosmic tones, this 3i Atlas Dish captures the shimmer of interstellar light. The surface evokes the swirling galaxies that inspired its creation, with a luminous, solar-metallic finish that shifts between deep indigo, bronze, and aurora green.
At the heart of the piece rests the green 3i Atlas comet, a two-inch sculpted form representing the interstellar visitor currently passing through our solar system. Its glowing green hues come from diatomic carbon and cyanogen gases that illuminate as the comet nears the Sun—a reminder of cosmic wanderers carrying the light of distant origins.
The accompanying Palo Santo or candle holder (≈ 1 inch diameter) and incense rest transform this dish into a versatile ritual tool. It can be used for:
• Burning incense, resin, or Palo Santo
• Charging crystals or small sacred objects
• Creating altar or meditation arrangements
• Serving as a centerpiece for smudging or elemental offerings
Each dish is individually crafted, fired, and glazed—no two are alike. The piece measures approximately 7.5 inches wide × 6 inches high, with subtle ripples reminiscent of energy waves or comet trails across a galactic sea.
